Hi there! My name is Nicole and I am a current student at San Diego State University and am studying Public Health with future goals of becoming a nurse. As a childcare provider I hope to offer a safe, warm and comfortable environment for any family looking to entrust someone with their children. I love engaging not only in indoor and outdoor activities with children, but also find it extremely important to listen to every child's question and request, giving them the attention they need and deserve at all times. As far as outdoor activities go, I myself grew up playing many sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis and track. I love the outdoors and taking advantage of the beautiful weather San Diego has to offer. I also offer an artsy side as I also grew up enjoying singing and dancing, and participated in show-choir and plays. I am CPR and CNA certified and feel confident in the skills that I have learned. Experience wise, I have worked as a Camp Counselor at Mission Bay Sports Center for 4 summers working with kids ages 4-16. Our daily activities consisted of stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing and catamaraning. I also have worked off an on as a childcare provider for children ages 3 months-12 years old at Paseo Del Rey Church for 4 years. Lastly, I have worked one winter in Mammoth as a snowboarding instructor for children ages 5-12. I feel that my previous jobs have prepared me physically, emotionally, and mentally to give the very best care and the most enjoyable experience to any future children I have the opportunity of caring for.
